Green cloth covered boards with gilt detailing to front. Corners bumped and rubbed and spine shows shelf wear to top and bottom. Indentation to mid external spine. Page edges sprayed gold. Inner hinge has netting showing through. Previous owners name to FFEP. B/w frontispiece depicting a portrait of Queen Victoria. Small foreword by Marc Gilchrist dated December 1884. A couple of pages still uncut. Netting showing through rear hinge with old sticky tape to rear internal hinge. Rare book- very hard to find. Preowned. No ISBN.
